To achieve this, we have a team of friendly and outgoing staff who are dedicated to organizing social programs and activities. We understand that each resident has unique capabilities and needs, so we specialize our activities to cater to their individual preferences.
At Crestline, we take pride in offering a diverse range of activities that cater to all holidays. Among these are exciting events like “Christmas with Santa,” a delightful “Thanksgiving family feast,” a heartfelt celebration for “Veterans Day,” a fun-filled “Halloween” gathering with the community, and enjoyable “community holiday cookouts.”
In addition to holiday activities, our facility regularly hosts a variety of musical groups, local high school entertainment, concerts, and dance performances, ensuring a vibrant and enriching environment for our residents.
We understand the importance of getting out and about, so we’ve arranged for transportation services to take residents on outings to parks, restaurants, shopping destinations, and special events. Despite our smaller size, our dedicated Activity Director and her assistant can provide more personalized attention and one-on-one activities, making each resident’s experience even more fulfilling.
Our specific activities include engaging resident and volunteer programs, delightful musical performances, staying up-to-date with current events through newspaper readings, singing exercises to uplift spirits, fitness and stretching activities to promote well-being, meaningful religious meetings, and a wide array of entertainment options. Residents can enjoy games, trivia sessions, explore history, participate in gardening activities, and embark on exciting field trips and outings. We also encourage and value volunteer involvement, fostering a sense of community and connection.
We love having local volunteers here at Crestline Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Our volunteers assist us with our activities and they visit one-on-one with our residents.
